The workshop brings together mathematicians, physicists and computer scientists interested in fostering the emerging interdisciplinary collaborations in the interface of the three areas. The topics discussed include, e.g., physically motivated approaches to combinatorial search and optimization, phase transition phenomena in computation and mathematics, and the modeling, analysis and management of large, complex and evolving networks such as the Internet and other telecommunication networks.
