The Visitor Program "Nonlinear parabolic problems" consists of visits
of foreign mathematicians to Helsinki, Finland, and of seminars,
minicourses and
the international conference. The activities take place at the Department
of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Helsinki, and at the Department
of Mathematics, Helsinki University of Technology.
The program is a part of the FMS International Visitor
Program
"Function spaces and differential equations".
Topics
-
maximal regularity
-
fully nonlinear problems with applications to free boundary and
geometric problems
- qualitative theory (including blow-up phenomena and dynamical
systems techniques)
- reaction-diffusion systems
- Navier-Stokes equations
- degenerate parabolic problems
